We Solve The Breakage
ABOUT US
Maxtaur is a revolutionary designed bracket attached to a ultra-high molecular
weight polyethylene (UHMW) paddle, attached to chain used in horizontal conveyance of dry flow-able materials.
A chain conveyor consist of a steel box with a chain running the entire length driven by a sprocket at each end. Attached to this chain are 2” tall paddles, with a width of the box, bolted to a bracket that is welded to chain.
This design is the primary means is for horizontal conveyance. Currently there 22 major conveyor
manufactures using in excess of 12 million feet of chain per year.
All conveyor manufactures attach a bracket to the chain by vertically welding a piece of
hot roll flat bar steel to the side bar of the chain. The heat developed in the welding process causes an
instability in the steel used in making the chain. This Instability leads to the steel becoming brittle and
ultimately breaking.
The Maxtaur's revolutionary design welds horizontally as opposed to the vertical industry standard. This slight alteration results in less friction and greater longevity.
